Shibari Rope Jam | Chest Harness Jam - Beginner Friendly
Join us to learn and play with chest harnesses, a wonderful and beautiful way to bind the upper body.
A chest harness typically wraps around the ribcage (above and/or below the chest), create rope patterns across the torso, provide anchor points for other ties (arms, legs, or suspensions) and can emphasise posture and body lines. Common types are the Takate Kote (Box Tie), in which arms are bound behind the back and secured to a chest harness and Shinju (Pearl Harness), which is more decorative and symmetrical across the chest. You can also create a hands tied in front harness (Fisherman’s harness).
Chest harnesses give a wonderful sense of being bound and framing the body, while giving you the option to tie one or both arms into the harness or leave them free, making it suitable for self-tying also. This is a very versatile tie that can be used for bondage play, for decoration and party wear, or under clothing for a delicious secret.
