Session 2: Fundamentals of Tying - Part 1 (10 May 7-9PM)

The single column tie
Single column variations
Single column placement
Creative single column application

Session 3: Fundamentals of Tying - Part 2 (17 May 7-9PM)

The In-line cuff
Wraps and Frictions
Yuki Knot (quick release)

Session 4: Fundamentals of Body Handling (24 May 7-9PM)

Transitioning the body on the floor
Moving with the breath
Ichinawa (one rope ties) with intention

Sessions 1-3 do not require a partner, but session 4 does. This is a technical rope class for people serious about nailing the basics.

This class (or equivalent private tuition) is a pre-requisite for our intermediate classes.
