Rope Marks: Life Drawing with Rope

Join us for a relaxed evening of creating artworks inspired by rope bondage. We will be drawing two models in various states of ensnarement. This life drawing class will focus more on shorter poses (to reduce the risks to the models).

Bring your own art-making materials and snacks. Ticket includes a glass of wine or bottle of water.

Respect the models. Any creepiness will not be tolerated.

This event will be held in a wheelchair accessible venue in Salt River, Cape Town.

Astrid (@desirelinesbondage) will be your rope artist for the evening. Astrid has been tying and teaching informally since 2016, creating Embodiment Rope Space and her private rope hustle (www.desirelinesbondage.com) in 2021. She sees her rope practice as an on-going journey of learning and discovery. She believes that rope is an unparalleled tool for revealing the parts that we keep hidden.
